MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – The Threefoot Brewing Company celebrated its 3 year anniversary Saturday, August 24th, at its downtown Meridian location.
The event started at 11 am and will continue until 10 pm.
There will be live music throughout the day with Daniel Houze and The Band headlining at 7:30 pm.
Saturday’s menu features 3 different anniversary beers, limited series beers, 3 different new types of pizza, and street corn.
Co-Owner John Purdy said the Meridian community could not have been more welcoming over the past 3 years and he’s looking forward to many more.
“The reception from the community has been great. It’s been a challenge for me personally, I have another job, my wife has another job, we’re the co-owners together, we have children so we’re busy, but the reception’s been great, the support’s been great, we couldn’t be more thankful for our community,” said Purdy. “Come hang out. Bring your family, bring your date, bring whoever you want. It’ll be fun for everybody.”
Purdy said the Threefoot Brewing Company was the first brewing company in Meridian and the first micro-brewery in the state.
