Lt. Gov. Delbert Hosemann is reported to be “doing well” and in “good spirits” after collapsing while presiding over the Senate chamber on Wednesday morning.
Witnesses say Hosemann fell forward onto the podium before collapsing to the floor.
The incident was briefly captured on the Legislative YouTube channel. The video was removed soon after the incident happened.
He was immediately attended to by those present, and the session was quickly recessed.
