LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – According to WTOK News in Meridian, Adrienne McDevitt was booked Wednesday morning and charged with the murder of Kelly McDevitt Jr. (2 Years old).
Adrienne McDevitt’s Bond has been set at $500,000.
In Wednesday’s press conference, Lauderdale County Sheriff Ward Calhoun said the department believes the child was forcibly drowned, but they are waiting for autopsy results to come back for an official cause of death.
Calhoun said McDevitt is currently in custody at a local medical facility.
She will be taken to the Lauderdale County Detention Facility when she is released.
The Sheriff’s Department responded to a 911 call on Tuesday night in the 2600 block of Bolen Long Creek Road.
