LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – According to Lauderdale County Sheriff Ward Calhoun, after receiving preliminary autopsy results and conferring with the District Attorney’s office, charges against Adrienne McDevitt have been upgraded to Capital Murder with no bond.
Calhoun stated in a press conference last week that investigators believe McDevitt forcibly drowned her 2-year-old child, Kelly McDevitt Jr.
McDevitt is currently in custody at the Lauderdale County Detention Facility.
The Sheriff’s Department responded to a 911 call on Tuesday, June 18th in the 2600 block of Bolen Long Creek Road.
