MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – On Tuesday, Aug. 6, Lt . Kevin Boyd of the Meridian Police Department surrendered himself to the Kemper County Sheriff Department and was arrested on the charge of statutory rape for a victim under the age of 14-years-old.
Boyd has been placed on leave from the Meridian Police Department.
