MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – The Max in Downtown Meridian played host to the Earth’s Bounty Night Market Thursday evening.
The event is similar to the regular Earth’s Bounty, except the Night Market offers a variety of arts and crafts in addition to the normal selection of fresh produce.
You can find anything from jewelry, to pottery, ceramics, and woodwork.
The director of Earth’s Bounty, Maureen Lofton, said it’s a great place for people who love fresh food and unique art.
“Even in smaller cities, there are people out there who do amazing things. They make amazing products, they grow wonderful things, and if we don’t give them someplace to bring all of this produce and products, what are they going to do? Some of them sell in their driveways, some of them out on the street, or in a parking lot somewhere, but this is a more organized way for people to know that they can come here, either to Earth’s Bounty, on the first Saturday of each month, or to the night market, three times a year and get things you won’t find anywhere else,” said Lofton.
Lofton said the only difference between the Night Market and the regular Earth’s Bounty is that adult beverages are sold at the Night Market.
