Choctaw Indian Princess Nalani LuzMaria Thompson Speaks on Being a Role Model for Young Girls

MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Choctaw Indian Princess Nalani LuzMaria Thompson stopped by the Queen City Newsfeed studio to promote the upcoming Choctaw Indian Fair beginning July 10th.

During her interview, she spoke about being a role model for her younger siblings and for young girls everywhere.

She had this to say:

“I always say, we’re seen as role models for all of our young girls. I mean, back home, I have two younger siblings, and they look up to me. I mean, my younger sister acts just like me. So, maybe she’s getting it from somewhere. So, in this role I have the opportunity and platform to basically be that role model for other young girls, and it’s really such a blessing to represent my tribe in this way and to show— I guess make our people proud. That’s how I see it,” said Princess Nalani.
