LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Lauderdale County Road and Bridge has embarked on a significant infrastructure improvement project aimed at enhancing Murphy Road.
The project, which commenced on Wednesday, July 17th, 2024, involves the installation of a 16×20 concrete box culvert at the northern end of Murphy Road.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to improve the county’s road network and ensure smoother transportation for residents and commuters.
R&J Construction, a local firm, has been awarded the contract for the project.
The construction phase is expected to span approximately 75 working days.
During this period, motorists are advised to use alternative routes to minimize disruption and ensure safety.
