Richard Johnson Road Project Underway with New Construction

TOOMSUBA, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – The long-awaited construction project on Richard Johnson Road, officially known as LSBP-38(40), is set to commence this August, following delays caused by right-of-way acquisitions and utility easements.

The Board of Supervisors has given the green light for J & M Construction to begin work on the installation of a 12×6 double-channel concrete box culvert. This upgrade aims to improve drainage and enhance road safety in the area.

Construction is scheduled to start in late August and is expected to span approximately 75 working days. During this period, residents and travelers are advised to use alternative routes to avoid disruptions.
