LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Alamucha Whynot Road will be closed on August 22, 2024, from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for railroad crossing repairs, according to the Lauderdale County Road and Bridge Department.
The closure, mandated by the KCS Railroad, is intended to ensure the safety of both motorists and railroad employees during the repair work.
Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes and exercise caution in the area. The department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
