MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Law enforcement agencies served a search warrant late Thursday night in the 1200 block of 64th Court in Meridian after a threatening message was posted on social media earlier this week.
Sheriff Ward Calhoun confirmed that the individual under investigation, Daniel Christian Johnson, 36, has had previous contact with local authorities.
Johnson, a former teacher at Clarkdale Attendance Center, was arrested and charged with making terroristic threats.
The investigation, which involved the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department, Meridian Police Department, and the FBI, led to the search warrant being executed.
Johnson is currently being held without bond, with a bond hearing scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 3.
