CLARKE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office is actively seeking Jatavious Davis in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred earlier this week at the Quitman Sports Complex, according to Clarke County Hot Topics.
Chief Deputy Barry White confirmed the warrant for Davis’s arrest.
Sheriff Anthony Chancelor reported that authorities responded to a shooting incident on Sept. 19th, 2024 at the sports complex, where one individual sustained a gunshot wound to the foot.
No additional damages or injuries have been reported.
The Quitman Police Department and the Clarke County Sheriff’s Department were on the scene shortly after the incident.
Authorities urge anyone with information regarding Davis’s whereabouts or the incident to contact Crime Stoppers, the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office, or the Quitman Police Department.
