MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – The East Mississippi Business Development Corporation (EMBDC) is hosting a food drive to support children and adults in need from Oct. 1 to Nov. 8.
Donations can be dropped off at the EMBDC office located at 200 22nd Avenue, Meridian, MS 39301. Suggested items for donation include canned vegetables, canned fruits, canned meats (such as tuna and chicken), Chef Boyardee, macaroni and cheese, pasta, cereal, canned soup, spaghetti sauce, cake mixes, brownies, and other non-perishable foods.
All collected food will be donated to The Wesley House in Meridian to assist local families facing food insecurity. Community support is essential to the success of this initiative, and EMBDC encourages everyone to contribute.
