MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) – Marcus Dixon has entered a guilty plea for the murder investigation of Georgie Horne of Meridian.
Dixon pleaded guilty to stabbing and killing Georgie Horne on the night of December 23, 2020.
Marcus Dixon entered into a guilty plea in September of 2024.
According to court documents, he plead guilty to Murder in the Second Degree as a Habitual Offender.
He received a sentence of 40 years without the possibility of parole or early release.
Dixon is in the custody of MDOC.
