Lauderdale County Road and Bridge Department Reopens Richard Johnson Road

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Richard Johnson Road has reopened following construction as part of Project LSBP-38(40), the Lauderdale County Road and Bridge Department announced this week.

J & M Construction, the contractor for the project, successfully completed the necessary repairs and upgrades to the roadway. While the road is now accessible to traffic, drivers are cautioned to proceed with care due to the temporary gravel surface. Paving work is still in progress and is expected to be completed in the near future.

The project is part of ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure throughout Lauderdale County. The Road and Bridge Department thanked residents for their patience and support during the construction period.

Motorists are urged to reduce speed and stay alert while traveling through the area. For further updates, the Road and Bridge Department will continue to provide information through its official channels.
