MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Upward Sports at NorthPark Church is giving kids in Meridian and surrounding areas a chance to learn the fundamentals of basketball, cheerleading, and the values of Christianity.
Whether they’re homeschooled, in public or private school, this program is for all local kids.
We caught up with Jonathan Sisson, the Upward League Director, Parker Manley, an Upward Coach & Committee Member, and Laura McArthur, a proud parent, to hear how the program is helping kids grow both athletically and spiritually.
From starting out on the court to eventually coming back as coaches, it’s all about fostering community, teamwork, and planting seeds of faith that will grow as these kids grow.
