LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – The Lauderdale County Road and Bridge Department announced a temporary road closure on Earl Haney Road on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. The closure will occur at the railroad crossing, starting at 7:00 A.M. and lasting until 5:00 P.M.
The KCS railroad will be replacing a broken rail during this time, necessitating the closure of the road for safety and repair work. Drivers are advised to use an alternate route while the closure is in effect.
The Lauderdale County Road and Bridge Department urges residents and commuters to plan ahead and follow any detours to avoid delays.
