MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – After 13 and a half years, Julius Tadarius Jones was finally laid to rest Saturday, March 1st, 2025.
Friends, family, and community members gathered at Berry & Gardner Funeral Home in Meridian to honor his life and legacy.
The service was filled with prayer, songs, and heartfelt moments as everyone remembered Julius and the impact he had on those around him.
The discovery of Julius’ remains in August 2024 has brought closure to a long search. Jones had been missing since 2011.
His story, though marked by tragedy, will continue to be a reminder of the strength and unity of our community.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death is ongoing, and we remain hopeful that justice will be served.
Today was a bittersweet moment for all who loved him, but his memory will live on.
