UPDATE: The suspects are now in custody.
The Philadelphia Police Department has identified two individuals suspected of stealing items from Born Again Bargains on Main Street on Sunday afternoon.
A video recorded and shared on Facebook captured the suspects loading stolen items into a grey SUV, prompting numerous tips from the public. After reviewing the footage and working with the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office, police were able to identify the suspects as Sean Crocker, 40, of Meridian, MS, and Erin Vance, 39, of Union, MS.
Investigators obtained the vehicle description and tag number from the video, which led them to an address in Union linked to Vance. However, law enforcement was unable to make contact at the residence.
Authorities are now seeking the public’s help in locating Crocker and Vance. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to contact the Philadelphia Police Department at 601-656-2131 or East Mississippi Crime Stoppers at (855) 485-8477.
This is an ongoing investigation, and more updates will follow as police continue their efforts to locate the suspects.
