LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – The Lauderdale County Road and Bridge Department has announced a temporary road closure on a portion of Russel Mt. Gilead Road, located in front of the TA Truck Stop, for repaving work.
The closure will begin at 7:00 AM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, and is expected to last until approximately 5:00 PM the same day. During this time, crews will repave a 600-foot section of the roadway as part of ongoing efforts to improve road conditions and ensure the long-term durability of the road.

- Drivers are advised to plan ahead and seek alternative routes during the closure period.
- Motorists should expect possible delays in the area while the work is being completed.
