NEWTON, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – The Newton Police Department has made a felony arrest in connection with an aggravated domestic violence case. At approximately 9:30 AM on March 14, 2025, officers served a felony arrest warrant on Willie Joe Smith Jr.
Smith was arrested on charges related to aggravated domestic violence. Interim Chief McKenzie Patrick confirmed the arrest and stated that the investigation is ongoing.
