MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed)- Jamal Roberts, a 26-year-old P.E. teacher from Meridian, wowed “American Idol” judges during Monday night’s Hollywood Week, securing his spot in the competition as more than half of the 144 contestants were eliminated.
Roberts impressed judges Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Carrie Underwood with his passionate performance of Anthony Hamilton’s “Her Heart.”
As Roberts advances, fans are excited to see how far he will go in season 23 of “American Idol.”
