MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – The Illuminations Center for Dyslexia is gearing up for its first-ever “Sip and Sway” Charity Event, set to take place on Saturday, April 26th at 7 p.m. at the picturesque Castle Grove Plantation. This exciting evening promises to be an unforgettable experience, with live music, dancing, an upstairs casino, food trucks, and a silent auction featuring local artwork and gifts.
The event will also include a sports viewing area, making it the perfect blend of entertainment, fun, and philanthropy. All proceeds from the event will support children with learning disabilities, with the goal of raising $10,000 to fund summer semester programs for 75 students. These programs are crucial in helping children catch up on their reading skills before the fall semester begins, as well as providing financial support through the scholarship fund.
Tickets are available for both General Admission and VIP Admission:
-
$50 General Admission: Includes a drink ticket, grazing table, and $50 in “funny money” for the casino.
-
$100 VIP Admission: Offers three free drinks, a food truck ticket, and $100 in “funny money” for the casino.
The event is 21+ and open to the public, making it an ideal opportunity for local residents to enjoy a fun-filled night while supporting a worthy cause.
