MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Paving to begin in several areas of the city on Monday, April 3, 2025.
Meridian motorists are advised to be aware of paving operations beginning Monday, April 3, and to avoid these areas when possible.
Some of the areas involved are:
• 34th Street, between 10th Avenue and Poplar Springs Drive.
• Poplar Springs Drive
• 29th Avenue, between 40th Street and North Hills Street
• King Road
• State Boulevard
• 40th Avenue
• College Drive
“If you must travel through these areas, drive slowly and yield to construction workers,” Assistant Director for Public Works Mike VanZandt said.
