Redistricting

The City has completed their mandated redistricting, and every City registered voter was mailed a new voter registration card advising the Ward and precinct location to vote in.  It is the voter’s responsibility to update their address every time they move as their name could possibly not be listed in the pollbook. If a voter did not receive a new card , did they move, change apartment numbers, drop their post office box, etc.?  They would need to inquire by calling the CITY at 601 485-1946.

The City decides which Ward and what precinct location a voter goes to and made several changes with their redistricting, and it is important to refer to your new card with this being the municipal voting year.

Voter Registration cards

Voter registration cards do not expire. Voters receive a new card whenever there is any activity of a change or update and are asked to please destroy any previous cards to avoid confusion.
