MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Don P’s “Taste of the Bayou” has officially opened its doors at 2305 Front Street in Meridian, offering residents a new destination for authentic Louisiana-style cuisine.
After gaining a strong following as a food truck, Don P’s has transitioned into a brick-and-mortar location, bringing classic bayou flavors to a permanent spot in the heart of the city. The restaurant features a menu rooted in traditional Cajun and Creole cooking, with dishes designed to transport diners straight to southern Louisiana.
The new eatery aims to serve the community with bold, comforting flavors in a welcoming atmosphere. Popular items include seafood favorites and Southern staples known for their rich seasoning and regional flair.
Don P’s “Taste of the Bayou” operates Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
