MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed)- Weems Mental Health and Innovative Behavioral Services, in partnership with the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department, will host Rx Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sam’s Club parking lot in Meridian.
The event provides a safe and anonymous way for the public to dispose of expired or unused prescription medications, helping to prevent misuse. Last year, 95 pounds of medications were collected, and organizers hope to exceed that amount in 2025.
No questions will be asked during drop-off. All are encouraged to participate.
