MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed)-Residents of Meridian are invited to roll up their sleeves for a good cause during the Spring and Summer Fling Blood Drive, set for Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, located at 2217 Highway 19 North.
The community blood drive aims to boost local blood supplies heading into the summer months. All participating donors will receive a blood drive T-shirt, sausage dogs provided by Polk’s Sausage Dogs (while supplies last), and will be entered into multiple giveaways.
Donors will have a chance to win a grill package and one of two epic vacation packages valued at $12,500 each. The vacation prize includes four tickets to the upcoming Universal Epic Universe theme park at Universal Orlando Resort, airfare, hotel accommodations, and a $2,500 gift card.
Organizers encourage early attendance, as food and giveaways are available only while supplies last.
