MERIDIAN, Miss. — Local performer N’spire Walker and her crew are scheduled to appear at two upcoming events connected to Juneteenth celebrations and a new art exhibition in Meridian.
Walker said the group will open for the Freedom to Fashion Juneteenth Fashion Show during the Black Business Expo at 6 p.m. June 19 at The MAX.
The following morning, the group will perform a full set beginning at 10 a.m. ahead of the opening of the John Jennings exhibition at The MAX.
“We will be opening up for the Freedom to Fashion Juneteenth Fashion show at the Black Business Expo next Friday at 6 PM,” Walker said. “That Saturday morning, we will do an entire set starting at 10 AM to open up for the John Jennings exhibit.”
The Freedom to Fashion Juneteenth Fashion Show is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. June 19. The John Jennings exhibition opens June 20 at The MAX.
