JACKSON, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Two lucky players have split the $583,000 jackpot from Tuesday night’s Mississippi Match 5 drawing. Each winning ticket is worth $291,500.
The first winning ticket was purchased at Blue Sky #727 in Tupelo, while the second ticket was bought at Lakeland Red Apple Texaco in Flowood.
The jackpot for the next Match 5 drawing has been reset to an estimated $52,000.
For September, Mississippi Lottery retailers have introduced a new collection of scratch-off games.
The “Jewel” series includes the $10 Diamond White, featuring a top prize of $200,000; the $5 Sapphire Blue, with a top prize of $100,000; and the $2 Emerald Green, which offers a top prize of $20,000.
In other lottery news, the estimated jackpots for upcoming drawings are as follows: Mega Millions® is set at $20 million with a cash value of $10.1 million for Friday night’s draw; Powerball® stands at an estimated $152 million with a cash value of $76.7 million for Saturday night; and Lotto America® is at an estimated $8.86 million with a cash value of $4.47 million.
