JONES COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – UPDATE: Teddy Lee Windham, a 73-year-old man reported missing earlier this week, has been located following a vehicle crash in Union Parish, Louisiana.
He is alive, and his family has been notified, according to the Jones County Sheriff’s Department.
The Silver Alert issued by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has been canceled.

Windham, a White male standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 190 pounds, was last seen on October 2, 2024, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. At that time, he was wearing a black long-sleeve shirt and black pants. He was driving a green 2008 Toyota Tundra with Mississippi license plate JA1 3853.
Windham has a medical condition that affects his memory. Authorities had sought the public’s help in locating him prior to his discovery. Anyone with further information is encouraged to contact the Jones County Sheriff’s Department at 601-425-3147 or call 911.
