TUPELO, Miss. (DarkHorse Press) – A 41-year-old Amory man has been arrested and charged with sexual battery following an investigation into an incident at North Mississippi Medical Center.
According to the Tupelo Police Department, officers responded to the hospital on February 4, 2025, after receiving a report of sexual battery. Medical staff informed officers that a suspect had been seen inappropriately touching an unconscious patient. Authorities confirmed that the suspect and victim were known to each other.
After an investigation, Bryan P. Bell was arrested on February 24 and formally charged with sexual battery. That same day, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir set his bond at $35,000.
The case is set to be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury for further proceedings.
