MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed)- Downtown Meridian will usher in the holiday season with its annual Holiday Retail Open House on Thursday, Nov. 6, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., inviting residents to shop local and enjoy the festive spirit throughout the city’s historic district.
The event, hosted by Downtown Meridian, encourages visitors to “get their jingle on early” while browsing seasonal merchandise, sampling holiday treats, and taking advantage of special promotions from participating retailers.
Local shops taking part include Belle G Boutique, Crooked Letter, DC Guitar Studio, DOHSA, Generations Fine Paper and Gifts (open 4 p.m.–7 p.m.), Hallie Ward Interiors, I Just Have To Have It, Loeb’s, Meridian Underground Music, Over The Moon, Queen City Cigar, The Liberty Shop, The MAX Store, and Threefoot Blooms.
Organizers say the open house offers an opportunity for holiday shoppers to “shop early and stress less” while supporting small businesses. The evening promises festive décor, local charm, and the chance to find unique gifts for everyone on the list.
“Support local businesses, enjoy the festive ambiance, and make your holiday shopping a joyful experience,” organizers said in a statement.
The Holiday Retail Open House will take place throughout Downtown Meridian. More information is available at downtownmeridian.org.
