MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) — The Firehouse Church will host a free gas giveaway and drive-thru prayer event on Saturday, April 4, as part of a Resurrection Weekend outreach in Meridian.
The event, titled “Gas on God,” is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Universal Food Mart, 3004 8th St.
Community members will be able to drive through to receive free gas while supplies last and participate in prayer. Food will also be available for purchase during the event.
Church leaders say the outreach is intended to provide support and encouragement to residents in the East Mississippi community.
