MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) — The Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience (The MAX) and Earth’s Bounty will kick off the 2026 NightMarket season Thursday, June 25, with an evening celebrating local food, art, music and community.
The free event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at The MAX, located at 2155 Front St. in downtown Meridian.
Organizers say the NightMarket will feature dozens of local vendors offering fresh produce, locally raised beef, honey, cheeses, baked goods, sourdough bread, handmade soaps and lotions, fresh lemonade and a variety of other locally produced items.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to shop handcrafted artwork and artisan goods, including leather products, pottery, woodworking, glass art, crochet items and other one-of-a-kind creations from regional artists and makers.
Live entertainment throughout the evening will be provided by Jacob Arnold and Matt McGuffie of Jacob Arnold & The Bird Dogs.
Several food vendors will also be on site.
In addition to shopping and dining, the event will include children’s activities and other family-friendly attractions.
The NightMarket is open to the public and is designed to showcase local farmers, artisans, food vendors and musicians while providing a community gathering space in downtown Meridian.
Organizers encourage residents to come out, support local businesses and enjoy an evening of food, music and entertainment.
