MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) — The East Mississippi Business Development Corporation recently hosted Business After Hours at The Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience, bringing community members together for an evening of networking and support for the Alzheimer’s Association.
Baptist Hospital in Meridian and the Walk to End Alzheimer’s by the Alzheimer’s Association sponsored the event.
Attendees learned about the importance of early Alzheimer’s detection and the resources available for individuals and families.
Organizers also encouraged local businesses and organizations to form teams for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk, which is scheduled for Oct. 24, 2026, at City Hall Lawn.
