A Mississippi couple accused of selling and installing faulty and used fire suppression systems in commercial kitchens continues to face charges in multiple counties across the state.
Daniel and Sherri Finnegan were originally charged with 41 counts each of false pretense, a felony under Mississippi law, along with 37 counts each of violating the Mississippi Fire Prevention Code.

Sherri Finnegan appeared in Hinds County Court on July 22, where her bond was initially set at $200,000. It was later reduced to $50,000, and she posted bond.
She was then transferred to Jefferson County, where she posted a $20,000 bond. According to the latest update, she was being held in Warren County pending a bond hearing.
Daniel Finnegan was being held in Hinds County on a $50,000 bond.
The couple previously pleaded guilty and were sentenced in Rankin and Madison counties earlier this year.
As a condition of her release, Sherri Finnegan is prohibited from possessing firearms or other weapons. She is also barred from installing fire protection or electronic security systems unless she is properly licensed and certified under Mississippi law.
Despite the earlier pleas in Rankin and Madison counties, authorities said the couple still faces 31 alleged violations of the Mississippi Fire Prevention Code and 37 false pretense charges in 11 other counties.
The remaining cases are still pending.
