LAUDERDALE COUNTY – Drivers should expect delays and temporary lane closures this week as paving and milling work continues on Minnow Bucket Road, according to the Lauderdale County Road & Bridge Department.
APAC-Mississippi Inc. is paving the westbound lane Monday and Tuesday.
Crews are scheduled to begin milling the eastbound lane Wednesday, with that work expected to continue through the rest of the week.
Officials said the remaining paving operations are expected to be completed Tuesday, Oct. 20, weather permitting.
Motorists should expect construction equipment, temporary lane closures and traffic delays throughout the work zone.
Drivers are being asked to slow down, use caution and consider alternate routes when possible.
