MERIDIAN, Miss. — Lauderdale County law enforcement officers booked a man on Monday afternoon on charges of failing to comply with sex offender registration laws, according to detention center records from the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office.
According to jail records, 67-year-old Robert Gant was booked into the Lauderdale County Detention Center on October 12 at approximately 2:53 p.m.. Gant faces charges for Failure to Register Under Sex Offender Registration Law, with bond listed at $0, according to official inmate records.
According to law enforcement, all individuals booked into the detention facility are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
