LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) — A section of Fisher Road is closed to through traffic today, Wednesday, Oct. 14, as Lauderdale County Road and Bridge crews continue replacing cross pipes along the roadway.
Crews have completed the first phase of three planned cross-pipe replacements. The second phase is scheduled for today from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes while the road is closed to allow crews to complete the necessary improvements.
Drivers traveling in the area should slow down and use caution near the construction zone.
