LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Clarkdale High School senior Charles Coody officially signed his letter of intent Thursday to continue his education and soccer career at East Mississippi Community College.
Coody, a standout player for the Clarkdale Bulldogs, will join the EMCC soccer program after a successful high school career. His commitment marks a significant milestone for both Coody and the school, as he becomes one of the latest athletes to advance to the collegiate level.
The signing was celebrated by Coody’s family, coaches, teammates, and classmates, all of whom have watched him grow as a player and leader over the years. The Lauderdale County School District captured the moment on video, sharing the event with those unable to attend in person.
