MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – The Mississippi Children’s Museum – Meridian hosted its 2nd Annual Love Bug Boogie on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The family-friendly event brought together the community for an evening of dancing, crafting, and fun, all in support of the museum’s vital programs and operations.
Attendees were treated to a variety of activities, including arts and crafts stations, a candy- and cookie-filled room, and a lively dance floor powered by 95.1 The Beat’s Jigga JT. The event’s upbeat atmosphere was perfect for families looking to enjoy a night out and contribute to the museum’s ongoing efforts to provide educational programming for children.
As the museum’s only family-friendly fundraising event of the year, the Love Bug Boogie played a crucial role in supporting the nonprofit’s mission. Proceeds from the event went directly to the museum, helping ensure that its programs continue to provide interactive learning experiences for children throughout the year.
Tickets for the event were priced at $20 and could be purchased online or at the door.
The Love Bug Boogie’s success marked another milestone in the museum’s ongoing efforts to engage and support the Meridian community while providing a space for children to learn, play, and grow.
