MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed)- Country music legend Randy Travis will be honored in a special concert event when the MSU Riley Center hosts the More Life Tour on Thursday, Sept. 25, at 7:30 p.m. The show will feature Travis, his original touring band, and guest vocalist James Dupré in a tribute to the iconic singer’s celebrated catalog.
Dupré, a singer-songwriter and former contestant on The Voice, will perform many of Travis’ most beloved hits, including “On the Other Hand,” “Forever and Ever, Amen,” and “Three Wooden Crosses.” Since Travis suffered a stroke in 2013, Dupré has toured as lead vocalist for the More Life Tour, bringing the music to life while Travis appears on stage with his longtime band.
Set in the historic and acoustically rich MSU Riley Center, the evening promises a memorable experience for country music fans and longtime followers of Travis’ career.
Tickets range from $39 to $120 and are available at www.msurileycenter.com or by calling the MSU Riley Center Box Office at 601-696-2200.
