The Salvation Army Jackson Metro Area is asking for donations to help stock its food pantry.
The organization said the pantry is in need of several items, including rice, noodles, peanut butter, spaghetti sauce, canned meat and tomato sauce.
Officials said donated items can make a difference for families in the community who rely on the food pantry for support.
The Salvation Army thanked the public for helping support its mission to serve local families in need.
