LAUREL – A man died after he was shot Saturday night in Laurel, according to WLBT.
Laurel Police Chief Earl Reed said officers responded around 9:15 p.m. to the 1000 block of 1st Avenue.
The victim was transported to South Central Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
Reed said the suspect has been identified but was not in custody as of Sunday.
