LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Authorities have identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Christmas Day as 34-year-old Lamajor Taylor.
According to Lauderdale County Coroner Stella McMahan, the accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 25 in the 600 block of 52nd Street. Taylor was hit by a sedan while walking in the area.
Emergency responders transported Taylor to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The incident is under investigation by local authorities, but no further details regarding the circumstances of the crash have been released at this time.
