LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) — The Lauderdale County Road and Bridge Department announced that pavement striping and roadway reflector installation will begin on several county roads starting Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
The work will be completed by Image Striping Company and will take place on Newton Martin Road, Lauderdale Road, Springhill Road, Luther Walker Road and Chip Pickering Drive.
Motorists traveling through these areas may encounter slow-moving work vehicles, temporary lane adjustments and brief delays while crews complete the project.
County officials are urging drivers to use caution when traveling through active work zones.
The improvements are part of ongoing efforts to enhance roadway visibility and safety throughout Lauderdale County.
