NESHOBA COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – A man previously listed as one of the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Department’s most wanted has been taken into custody out of state.

Earlier this month, the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Department issued a Most Wanted alert for Reginald Demondra Triplett, who was wanted on 18 felony warrants issued by the Neshoba County Circuit Court.

According to an update posted Friday morning on the department’s Facebook page, Triplett has now been arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service in Cleveland, Ohio. Authorities say he will be transported back to Neshoba County in the coming days to face the charges.

Triplett, 54, of Philadelphia, has faced multiple drug-related charges over the past year.

In May, investigators with the Philadelphia Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in Philadelphia with assistance from the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.

During that search, authorities reported seizing a significant quantity of illegal substances, including approximately 426 grams of counterfeit pills, 153 grams of methamphetamine, 151 grams of marijuana, 92 grams of crack cocaine, 71 dosage units of MDMA, 32 grams of powder cocaine, and 35 grams of Xanax. Investigators also recovered three firearms from the residence.

Following that operation, Triplett was charged with four counts of trafficking a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

In October, he was charged with four counts of trafficking a controlled substance, six counts of sale of cocaine, and six counts of sale of a controlled substance.

Officials have not yet announced a specific timeline for his return to Mississippi but say he will be required to answer to all 18 felony indictments in circuit court upon extradition.
