MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) — Meridian Community College will host its Fall 2026 Community Resource Fair on Wednesday, Aug. 19, offering students an opportunity to connect with local organizations and learn about services available both on and off campus.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at Ivy-Scaggs Hall.
The fair will bring together community partners and campus departments to provide information on a variety of student support resources, including academic success, mental health and wellness, financial assistance, community services and career development.
Students will also have the opportunity to participate in a Vendor Passport Challenge by visiting participating vendors and collecting stamps for a chance to win door prizes.
College officials said the event is designed to help students build connections with organizations that can support them throughout the academic year while introducing them to resources that promote personal and academic success.
The Community Resource Fair is free for Meridian Community College students.
