LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – The field of candidates is set for several Lauderdale County races after the qualifying period ended at 5 p.m. Thursday.
According to the final list of qualifying candidates, the following candidates have qualified for races in the Nov. 3, 2026, general and special election:
General Election
- County Court Judge
- Veldore Young-Graham
- Lisa Howell
- School Board District 5
- Olivia Leann Vick
- Michael Wilson
Special Election
- Circuit Clerk
- Kim Houston
- Jeff Tate
- Justice Court Judge
- Labaron Hedgemon
- Kevin Richardson
The qualifying period officially closed at 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, setting the field of candidates ahead of Election Day.
The general and special election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 3.
